Getting Here and Around

Baixa is Lisbon’s downtown, so the area is well served by public transport. Local metro stations include Terreiro do Paço, Baixa-Chiado, and Rossio; large numbers of buses also ply the north–south streets of its regular grid, though their stops are all at its northern and southern ends, on Rossio and on or near Praça do Comércio.
